So Microsoft finally came out with their response to Apple’s “Get a Mac” line of television spots. It was a much vaunted event, with Jerry Seinfeld being featured alongside Bill Gates. The cost of the campaign: $300 million.
I watched the ad. I have to say: I don’t get it.
So…. what message is this supposed to convey exactly? I mean I have to say, watching this commerical doesn’t make me think: “LOOLOLOLOLOLO! THAT’S SO TRUE!! I’M GOING TO GO BUY 89489289723575487198 BOXES OF MICROSOFT WINDOWS NOW!!”
