Of course, the iPhone App Store has plenty of useful and entertaining games and applications to help you justify spending gobs of cash on your new, beautifully-crafted testament to technological decadence. But what if you’re so damned rich, you just don’t know what to do with the millions of bucks just lining your pockets and having an iPhone (or two or three) just isn’t enough bling to throw round?

Well, iTunes comes tot he rescue again. For a mere $999, an app called I Am Rich will show people just what a rich prick you are.

What does it do? Nothing of utility really. Though its creator, Armin Heinrich, has a different take:

The red icon on your iPhone or iPod touch always reminds you (and others when you show it to them) that you were able to afford this.

Hopefully with any profits he makes from sales of this App, Heinrich can hire an artist that can do more than render a poorly-gradiented lens flare and pentagon. And perhaps even a grammar checker who doesn’t command “to” high a salary.
